iLiteBook (QingKuai JiZhang) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
Data We Collect
Account data: email address, username, and hashed password. Usage data: ledgers, transactions, categories, accounts, members, budgets, and support tickets that you voluntarily enter. Technical data: IP address, browser language preference, and session cookies required for login.
How We Use Your Data
To provide the bookkeeping service. To maintain your login session. To send password reset emails. To prevent abuse (rate limiting). We do NOT sell, rent, or share your data with third parties.
Data Storage
Your data is securely stored on our servers. Passwords are hashed using scrypt. Do NOT enter sensitive information like bank passwords or ID numbers.
Data Retention
Your data is retained as long as your account is active. When you deactivate your account, your data will be sealed for 7 days, after which it will be permanently deleted. Audit logs are retained for up to 2,000 entries per user.
Your Rights
Access: You can export all your data at any time from your Profile page. Correction: You can edit your profile information in Settings. Deletion: You can deactivate your account in Profile / Delete Account.
Cookie Usage
Essential cookies: Session cookie for login, CSRF token for security, language preference cookie. These are necessary for the site to function and do not require consent. Analytics: We may use basic analytics to understand site usage. No advertising or tracking cookies are used.
Children’s Privacy
iLiteBook is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
